Headquartered just outside Washington, DC, the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) serves the professional needs of healthcare regulatory professionals globally. RAPS is a not-for-profit professional membership organization. The objectives of RAPS are: to provide proper professional identity and recognition for regulatory affairs (RA) professionals in healthcare; to serve as the leading source of knowledge and learning for RA professionals; to facilitate the exchange of professional experiences, interpretation of legislative and regulatory policies, rules and other activities; and to foster interaction, communication and networking among members to promote favorable relations between RA professionals and other professions, organizations and governmental regulatory agencies.
