Compensation & Scope of Practice Report

2018_SOP_cover-200px.jpg RAPS’ biennial Compensation & Scope of Practice Survey of the Regulatory Profession is the largest, most comprehensive research initiative on the global regulatory profession. The 2018 survey garnered more than 2,300 responses from regulatory professionals around the world involved with healthcare and related products. Respondents answered questions about their compensation, job responsibilities, priorities, professional and educational backgrounds and more.

The resulting report provides useful insight into the global regulatory profession and its practitioners. The 2018 Compensation & Scope of Practice Report for the Regulatory Profession is helpful for regulatory professionals seeking to advance in their careers or benchmark themselves among colleagues, those looking to get into the profession, hiring managers and talent management professionals charged with attracting and retaining regulatory expertise, and the managers and colleagues who may interact with regulatory professionals in various ways.

The Race to EU MDR Compliance

Race_to_EU_MDR_Compliance_cov-200px.jpg With the 2020 deadline looming for implementation of the EU’s Medical Device Regulation (MDR), RAPS partnered with KPMG in June 2018 to survey 220 regulatory affairs and quality assurance professionals from a variety of medical device organizations. Analysis of survey responses revealed many lack sufficient understanding of the new rules governing the ability to sell products in the European market.
