RAPS is closely monitoring developments in the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. See our public safety page for the latest updates.

There is no higher priority to the entire RAPS family than the health and safety of our members, customers, partners, and employees. We continue to closely monitor developments in the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO), as well as other relevant authorities. Check this page regularly for additional updates.

Updated 24 March 2020

The world finds itself in an unprecedented situation. As governments, businesses and educational institutions take measures to slow the spread of the coronavirus, RAPS is continuously assessing how we can best support the regulatory community while ensuring the health and safety of the entire RAPS family.

RAPS Euro Convergence 2020 - Updated

RAPS is pleased to announce that Euro Convergence 2020 will be held 26-28 October at the Radisson Blu hotel in Brussels, following our decision to reschedule the meeting in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The conference planning committee is taking the intervening months to carefully review the agenda and update it to provide the most important and relevant education to address the ever evolving needs of regulatory professionals. Event registration and housing reservations are open and available for the new dates. We appreciate your patience as we all react to this unprecedented global situation.

RAPS Executive Development Program at the Kellogg School of Management

RAPS Executive Development Program is still set to go on as planned with appropriate health precautions in place from 17-20 May 2020 at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.

We continue to monitor the changes in this global situation and will make modifications to this program as necessary. Again, we understand that predictability and consistency is valued by our community and, should any changes to the program be necessary, we seek to provide you with as much time and awareness as possible.

RAPS Convergence 2020

RAPS Convergence currently is set to go on as planned with appropriate health precautions in place from 12-15 September 2020 in San Antonio, TX.

In-Person Workshops

RAPS has worked with our expert faculty to optimize the curricula for our one- and two-day in-person workshops for virtual delivery — as of 31 March, all RAPS workshops for the following six months will be offered as virtual events. During these times of uncertainty, this shift allows us to ensure that the regulatory community continues to have access to the same high-quality education programs regardless of any changes or disruptions that may be occurring regionally.

There may be an isolated event or two that are seen as exemptions to that general policy. These exemptions would generally be based on the timing of the event, the planned program curriculum, and the intended learning objectives for the program. We are working with our partners, instructors, and committees to quickly identify those exemptions and communicate those to you.

Chapter Events

All in-person events at the chapter level have been placed on hold until 31 May 2020.  In the meantime, chapter leaders are exploring opportunities to deliver professional development content online, and we encourage you to check the RAPS event calendar frequently for the latest chapter offerings.

Revised Cancellation Policy

We understand that you still may have reservations about committing to attend a conference given the evolving situation with COVID-19. To alleviate this concern, we would like to share with you a special offer that can help you register with confidence.

We will waive the standard cancellation fee for all existing and any new registrations until this situation passes. In the unlikely event you register and need to cancel, you will be able to apply your registration to any other RAPS event taking place in the next 12 months.  Please submit a cancellation request online.
